Lambert Lambert was captain of the Lamberts or Khauas Nama (Kai|khauan) from 1865 to 1868. He succeeded his father, Amraal Lambert, who was born in 1774 as a slave in the Clanwilliam (South Africa) district. The Lamberts, who were allies of the guerilla fighter Hendrik Witbooi, lived at Gobabis in Namibia.
